Wes Peek takes you through drills that will develop your perimeter players for effective pick & roll offense.
Perimeter Entry Chair Drills
Coach Peek runs players through entry chair drills emphasizing proper footwork and consistent shooting form, the ability to catch and shoot or attack from all areas of the floor, aggressiveness to keep the defense off balance and the ability to read the defense and think ahead.
Ball Screen Chair Drills
Learn how to use chair drills to teach your players their options when coming off ball screens and reading the defense, how to accept and use the ball screen correctly, how to minimize and protect their dribble and how to reject the screen and counter if defense stops the Pick & Roll
Peek uses combination 2-on-0 and 3-on-0 drills to teach the Pick & Roll offense and to teach players to correctly and effectively pass, cut, catch, and use screens. These combination drills will also help your players learn to draw help defense for kick out passes while perimeter players drift to proper positioning.
2-On-2 Live Drills
Put it all together in a live setting with Peek's 2-on-2 Live Drills.
In addition, Coach Peek emphasizes competition in drills, using good passes and hard cuts to create advantages, exploiting mismatches, reading the defense, and staying aggressive to keep the defense off balance and create shots to maximize the effectiveness of the Pick & Roll Offense.
