John Nostrant delivers an all-access look into two live practice sessions as his undefeated team prepares for its next opponent. The first practice is an up-tempo skill development practice. The second, a more focused practice centered on game preparation for their next opponent.

The objective for Nostrant and his staff is to run productive, up-tempo practices and keep everyone involved and sharp. The practices you will see are broken down into a pre-practice segment, stretching, drill work and game prep. Nostrant and his staff teach on both the offensive and defensive side of the field.

Day 1 Practice
Pre-practice work includes offensive and defensive skill work. Shooting progressions, passing and face-offs are incorporated in the offensive skill work. The defensive skill work includes stick handling , blocking, and slide progressions.

After a team stretch, the Fords run through a series of seven drills to perfect ground ball play, transition build ups, scramble situations and more.

Day 2 Practice
Pre-practice work includes shooting and slide progressions on the offensive end and ground ball play, blocking, stick handling, and footwork on the defensive end.

The Fords run through two drills and use the rest of the practice practicing their man and zone offense 6-on-6. These drills are used as game prep by switching up the offense and defense and providing different looks for both sides.

The practice ends with man up and man down situation.

Make the most of your precious practice time using these efficient shooting drills.

In this on field presentation, Mark Petrone provides three steps to choosing the best shooting drills for your team. He lays out the objectives for getting as much skill work done during these drills as possible.

Petrone takes the team through an efficient five drill warm up. Each drill incorporates fundamentals and gives the players shots from different positions. These drills include: passing and shooting on a target, in-tight shooting with a fake, 3-man shooting, 2-shots with a dodge, and 2-shots with an off-ball move. These drills provide a variety of shots, allow for constant movement, and improve shooting technique.
