Supervision and motivation are the biggest factors in the success of a training program. Florida State basketball players are coached on every repetition of each exercise. In addition, Coach Bradley teaches the athletes the art of strength coaching and the science of strength training, so that they can further grasp expectations and apply it later in life.
It is the responsibility of the strength coach to create an environment that makes the players want to train. An effective coach addresses the mental component of strength training by having players in a positive state of mind as soon as they step in the weight room.
