In this easy to understand video, coach Attig explains the ingredients and mechanics of successful long jumping. He teaches the techniques involved in each phase of the jump and discusses both the beginner and the novice learning progressions. The video shows the coach and athlete how to attain a quicker, more explosive take off. Dozens of drills are included to aid in learning long jump skills and avoiding common errors in the event.
