In part one, you get a firsthand account of how Louisville's Assistant Sports Performance Coach Zach Farrel gets the team ready for the season. Listen in as Coach Farrel shares his advice and shows players the right way to approach weightlifting.
After Coach Farrel's training session, Coach McDonnell returns to discuss his daily and weekly practice plans.
The team then moves on to individual and team drills with a focus on covering the bunt, fielding practice for pitchers, competitive rundown drills and base running drills. Also included are live batting practice drills.
In part two, Coach McDonnell shares the three-part stretching series that his players to enhance stability and mobility. Coach Farrel returns to show the details involved in creating a warmed and ready body for practice and competition.
Next up: The pitchers work their PFP drills while Coach McDonnell shares coaching points for each movement. A number of PFP drills are offered, covering everything from ground balls around the entire infield, comebackers, pick offs, and more.
